At Rebel Fitness, we operate using the CK-FMS systematic approach. The CK-FMS, or Certified Functional Movement Specialist, uses an elite (only 150 instructors worldwide) systematic approach to strength and conditioning development.
The CK-FMS instructor utilizes the Functional Movement Screen to zero in on potential underlying injuries, and fundamental movement based dysfunctions. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link and the CK-FMS instructor finds that weak link and systematically applies corrective strategies to fix and strengthen the weak link.
Training without understanding the missing fundamental pieces will in fact increase the risk for injury, exacerbate existing injuries, rob you of performance and sabotage your fitness goals. Not identifying your basic and fundamental dysfunctions is the equivalent of driving your car down the freeway with a flat tire.
