Ryan is the Founder and Co-owner with his wife Sarah of Rebel Fitness Academy.
Ryan is a Certified Kettlebell-Functional Movement Specialist (CK-FMS link to CK-FMS description) with the RKC and a Certified Personal Trainer with The NSCA.
Ryan believes that movement, strength, injury prevention and performance are the key components in achieveing the highest quality of life. Providing freedom through fitness, allowing anyone to take on any challenge and chase any dream.
Being a competitive athlete himself Ryan has undergone surgery nearly half a dozen times, has broken more bones than he can count and has nearly lost his left leg twice. Kettlebell training and the systems utilized at RFA have helped in rehabilitated Ryan from life changing injuries. Ryan has become stronger, more powerful, resilient, and more explosive than ever before. Now bringing his experience and knowledge to a fully armed performance facility. The training concepts at RFA are the powerful catalysts behind Ryan’s own high level of performance.

Ryan has worked with Olympian ski racers, big mountain pioneers’, developmental athletes from all sports and everyone else in between.
Ryan believes everyone deserves Olympic level training and so Rebel Fitness Academy was born.

Sarah has been personal training and teaching Pilates since 2004. She has worked with a variety of individuals from the very fit to those living with the effects of paralysis. Sarah was on the U.S National Vaulting A-team and traveled extensively around the world competing in horse gymnastics. She danced for a performing group in Santa Barbara for a few years before pursing her passion in fitness. Sarah loves to create challenging yet effective workouts for her clients and is always concerned with a patients past injuries and future goals.
